Every Heart. i forget which show it's on, i think it's the end creds for inuyasha. I also love the rurouni kenshin theme song.

The best anime theme song is the one from Dragonball Z the first episodes. The other episdes don't have the same song and the other song is not very good.

There's lots of good ones. Just look for anything composed by Yoko Kanno or Yuki Kaijiura, in my opinion. They are wonderful composers. the .hack series has a good soundtrack, as does Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. If you're looking for something a little more popish, go for the OPs and EDs from Bleach or Naruto. Try finding a song you like and then searching for the artist... like L'arc~en~Ciel (Ready Steady Go from Fullmetal Alchemist and Fourth Avenue Cafe from Rurouni Kenshin), Asian Kung-fu Generation (Haruka Kanata from Naruto and Rewrite from FMA), or T.M.Revolution (Heart of Sword from Rurouni Kenshin, the Gundam SEED OP and ED, and now the vocals for the D.Gray-man opening). Good searching!

best theme song for sure would be hikaru no go
all of the songs on that show are amazing and it's known for all the good music on it!
but my fav. would have to be the second opening

Kesenai Tsumi of FMA. it suits the anime. (kesenai tsumi literally means inerasable sin) but if you're only looking for a japanese song which is also an anime theme song, i would say a little pain by olivia lufkin. this the theme song of the anime nana.
