Well, it has taken me 17 hours to find out, though I only managed to visit 14 Public houses all the landlords allowed me access to their boards, and gave me a pint in each for helping you in your quest.
I counted all the holes to the best of my ability, including the last 5, by then I was getting a `little` pissed, still, by counting all the holes and dividing the total by 14, I came to the conclusion that there were, on average.. now, hold on, I`ve got it here somewhere.... ah, hang on a mo..... bollocks, I think I dropped my findings on the way home, right, I will be back shortly, I`m off to give it another go.....

#20 usually has 67 holes, while all other spaces (20 others) have an average of 22.367. Of course, "used" is a relative term. My ex-wife is "used," and used heavily. My cam-corder is also used, but used very rarely. SO a used dart board is hard to judge.

If it were mine, and I played on average one hour per day, seven days a week over two years, then there would be appoximately three holes in the dart board.

The wall AROUND the dart board, on the other hand.......
