Maybe she's just going through a rough time with the adjustment of being pregnant. Give her a chance and don't be too hard on her.

May be it's about he baby's father or her family. If she's pregnant and not with her boyfriend/husband or her family that could be whats bothering her. Some of my family wasn't there for me when I was pregnant because I chose not to get married. It made me very cranky and I would cry sometimes. Try telling her that you are going to be there for and don't just say it DO IT. You can find a free baby type of lecture at baby stores like Baby Depot and Baby's R Us, you can check on-line or call a local store and ask if she would like to go. Some hospitals even have some. If you can't find one try asking if she would like to do a type of workout for pregnant women (yoga for pregnant women is nice) you can find a gym that offers one or you can get a DVD or book of it. But don't expect her to change right away. All you can do is keep the house clean, offer to cook healthy foods, listen and maybe go shopping for baby stuff with her.

Well, I can control myself around people, and I am nice to them. But I do know that I am not myself. This is my 4th child so I know hormones Do make women crazy when pregnant. I can just feel the fire inside me when I get mad..lol, and its at the stupidest things too. So yes its her hormones, but I still think people can control themselves in certain situations. Its not an excuse to be rude or unfriendly, I dont think. People do get on my nerves alot easier, but I let it go.

Oh, blame it all on the hormones! I turned really nasty when I got pregnant, and I didn't even like being around me, that's how bad I got!
Talk to her, and ask if there is anything that you can do for her.
And remember that she has not always been like this and hold on to that knowledge!
She'll appreciate the understanding.

Some women use the monthly as an excuse. They are the attention seekers. Some use pregnancy. I think it is sadness or depression hiding behind B****ness in pregnancy.
