Highlight the file and press F2. So long as no administrative restrictions have been placed, and the file is not currently open (in use) you should be able to rename it.

If you are missing the option under the right click, click once on the file name and click on F2. That is the rename key.

go 2 start, click settings,control panel and click onto internet options : )

The only reason I can think of is that your system administrator disabled it. Of course that only applies if you are on a public network.

Have you tried with another mouse?-its right click switch may not be working..
