ok i saved pics today on my pc, and i happen to have windows xp, but when i redo it in 6 months how do i find out how much space i have like to save pics and vids. cause i tried to select a different display pic today and it said that my hard drive was full someone plz help. ty.

go to your my computer icon on the desktop..double click in it and on the window,,,high light the hard drive and at the lower left had part that says: details : thats where you will find how much free space you have left in your har drive...

Go to Start and click on My Computer.
Set the View to Details and look at the Total Size and Free Space and you will know how your drive space is allocated.

On your desktop, click on My Computer, then select your hard drive. Used and free space will be indicated.
To liberate space delete any files or programs you no longer need, and then run your defragmentation utility program (via Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools)

Go to Start>My Computer>right click on "Local Disk" and select "Properties".

Go to my computer, right click on your hard drive C: and click on properties and it will show you a pie chart of you used and unused space.

Right click on the start button. Then "explore". Find the "C" drive and right click on it. Go to properties.

go your hard disk properties here you see how much you have a hard disk space
