So.. for some reason I have pain "down there" and I think it might be from razor burn or a cut. I've been shaving for many years and I've never done that before so I don't really know what it feels like.. thats why I'm asking and making sure its not anything else. I know it isnt an std (been with my boyfriend for 3 years). I know it isn't a yeast infection. It looks like just a red line, but it's irritated and it hurts.. especially when I wipe after going to the bathroom. The best way to describe what this feels like would be when you wear clothes that are too tight, and leave marks (like tight pants around your waist) and the marks are sensitive to touch... only it hurts a little more that. Any suggestions as to what this might be?
Note: I might add that I wore new panties the other day without washing them first.. but the place I got them from doesn't allow underwear to be tried on, so I didn't bother washing them first. Might that be a factor?

It sound like you may just be raw "down there", either because of the shaving or maybe from sex. If its not better within a week or so you might want to get it checked.

It sounds like razor burn and the new unwashed underwear may have contributed to it.
Try an antiseptic cream and loose fitting clothes for the next few days. Use only a glycerin based soap and use it sparingly. I once had a similar condition and wore men's briefs for a couple of weeks as the elastic in my underpants exacerbated the condition.

I bet it is a factor...it could be some chemical they used in making the fabric or the dye that they used, that you are sensitive to. Let that area heal. Use some bacterial ointment, in case there is an infection starting from it. Keep it clean and dry...and ALWAYS was your undies before you wear them! Good luck!
