Welcome to the miracle of Paint and Adobe Photoshop. You could do a collage 4 a background, you could draw using paint, you can cut and paste and label, and you can use your own photos. Additionally, consider pop-outs and 3-d projects. I did a history project once where I got a huge styrofoam ball and speared it through with wooden sticks and then sltuck my info on the edges. The teacher not only gave me a 100, he also hung in on the ceiling. I also did a top hat about elections that I covered with info. If you want to make a paper look nice, you can type it up with an older-looking font, then boil some coffee, roll up the papers and soak the papers in there for an hour. Then take them out and wait for them to dry. The papers will be ripped and yellowed. But that's the effect you're going for. You might also want to burn the edges to make it look better. All 3 of these projects got 100's 4 creativity, innovation and content.
