they do keep snakes away but I don,t think it works on mice

Yes, they will, but not for long. They will loose their potency and so, I agree with the others; a cat is the best answer. We have one of those as well, but living in the country is more than one cat can handle! We use the moth balls around our mower in an old shed. After doing this, we noticed there weren't nests built in the motor. Hope this helps.

Yes snakes mice and raccoons and skunks, i live in the country, but be careful and use just a small amount or tit will run you away too!

yes it does work and if you put sulfur or diesel fuel around the border of the yard it will keep snakes out of your yard.
