Is mascara and sometimes a little eyeliner too much for 13yrs.???

Do I need less or more show pics, tell examples any tips anything lol I want opinions on if u like makeup and how much!!!

I wouldn't suggest eyeliner or mascara (I'm 27 and hate wearing mascara), but I think that you could get away with light eyeshadow. I think one of the best things about wearing makeup is that you don't always have to. I know women that wear so much makeup that when they go out without it people don't even recognize them. You don't want to end up in that situation. The tendency is to start out light with the makeup when you're young and it seems to get heavier and heavier the older you get. I'd wait for some of the darker stuff like eyeliner and mascara.

It depends how much you put on. Why do you feel you need it, your only 13? Natural is really true beauty. But if you were in high school it would be different. Just don't over due it on the makeup so you wont look like a raccoon, just put one coat of mascara so it wont chunk up and slightly draw on your liner. Pick the right color for you too. When I was 14 I wore eyeliner and mascara bacause I wanted to feel older, but I didn't over due it.

Use verrry little. You dont wanna look like a wannabe tramp or anything. Im 15 and i personally go for the heavy punk eyeliner, but if that's not your style, try brown mascara and brown eyeliner, it's a little more soft. Just whatever you do, dont wear any bright lipstick, or any lipstick at all. Stick with clear lipgloss.

I'm 13 and personally i don't wear makeup. I think it makes me look too old and I'm not comforatble wearing it anyways. Why do you want to grow up so fast, we don't need makeup yet. We're young and beautiful :). However I don't see anything wrong if it's halloween or some big party thing then you can wear some eyeliner and mascara. this is just my opinion.

Hey Hun.
If you want to wear makeup then wear it. Don't listen to people who say oh you are too young to wear it. If it's okay with your parents then you should wear it if it makes you feel good about yourself.
Don't wear too much though. Wear a dark brown mascara and a little bit of brown eyeliner. You could also spice up your daily look by wearing a colored lip gloss. You could even try wearing a light layer of eyeshadow. Try a light brown, Peach or something close to your skin tone.

Well I am 13 years old and I wear mascara and sometimes eyeliner and I dont think its really too much. I even know other people that are the same age as me or younger that wear even more. So don't worry about. As long as ur not plastering urself with it then it should be fine. Or u can go with wut they call "nude colors" such as tan or a light pink type of makeup

it all depends on how much you put on and how well you put it on!! i am 13 and the makeup i wear everyday is... powder foundation, light pink or peach eyeshadow (not very noticable but looks nice) light blush and mascara. I like to look natural without a ton of makeup. i know girls in my school who wear way too much makeup and makes them look like whores. there are also girls who wear eyeliner half an inch thick (racoon eyes =3) put it on lightly and just trace your bottom eyelashes. if you have lighter hair you should your brown eyeliner. I usually dont wear eyeliner on the top because i think its too hard to put on!

yeah, probably. but a general rule of thumb is if you just stick to one product (mascara or eyeliner, but not both at once) it looks more natural. if you have dark eyelashes as it is without makeup, a little clear mascara will darken them a bit without looking over the top. also, if you do like to use eyeliner, a warm brown will make your eyes pop without being too bold.

I'm 13 too, and I think that mascara is ok, but I don't go for eyeliner. I know many girls my age and younger who wear too much eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner and look 20. Its disgusting.

I am 12 and i wear eye liner and mascara. But dont over do it...u dont want people to think u r gothic. I just put som eye liner on the bottom to bring out my eyes. then usualy a really little amount of white eye shadow. And then lots of mascara cuz i like when my eye lashes r long.
