President Bush has a learning disability which also affects his speaking abilities. This is not a mental illness. Despite his disability he attended two Ivy League schools where he earned an MBA (no small task). He also ran several businesses and became a governor and then later a president. Again, not bad for someone with a handicap (one can also add that he overcame a drinking problem and possibly a drug problem as well).

As to mental illness, this is not as unusual as I infer the premise of your question to be. Many great figures (and even presidents) have suffered from mental illness. Lincoln is a great example of a man who suffered from depression, married a mentaly ill wife, but coped well with his illness.

There are also provisions to remove a president who becomes mentaly ill to the point that he is not discharging his duties faithfuly, The elctorate of this country, the president's physician, and the duly elected members of congress have not acted at all in this light.

Let's question the man's policies if you like. Mocking him for physical characteristics isn't helpful.

Like I said in a previous question, had he not been Bush Snrs son and born with all the connections that entails I think he'd be lucky to get a job working on the Drive-thru window at MaccyD's. And he'd probably screw that up.

i think all Presidents exchange into mentally risky from listening to each and all the whining and complaining from the individuals. no rely what a President does in u . s . of america, 0.5 the each and every physique is going to be disillusioned and throwing a hissy in effective condition. bill Clinton had a similar situation. in simple terms relax. he would be long previous quickly and could be replace via somebody else who will make us mad.
