I've always been a dog person. i've always loved them. i think they're friendlier than cats.

I'm a cat person. I was bit by a dog when I was a young child, so many dogs tend to frighten me a bit. Plus, I travel for my job quite often and a cat is much simpler to leave alone for a few days.

I love both but in different ways. I have three cats and a dog! my cats are quiet, dainty, and sweet, and my dog is exciting, affectionate (not that my cats aren't, but more so), and "portable". meaning that I can take her places.
both can be naughty. at times my dog has chewed up stuff I left on the floor, and my cats sometimes jump on the kitchen table and in the laundry basket of clean clothing.

I was a dog and cat person both until ten minutes ago. The Russian Ridgeback that I am sitting, for family in the evening's just wrapped my arm around the door frame and tore my skin off. Also have nice blood bruise. One month ago he drug me off the porch and dis-placed my knee cap. Thinking about suing own family.

I love dogs. Cats are a bit harder to take care of and they stare at me weird, plus dogs always like me.

I have 8 of the friendliest cats in the world! One especially is overly affectionate...even non- cat people love her! I love dogs as well, but I don't have the room for them!

I'm a dog person :-D. Dogs are a man's best friend. Cats are stingy but they are nice and lazy like me sometimes.

Had both as a family growing up
Had a cat when I lived on my own
I would like a dog now, but it's not possible because no one is home enough to take care of one properly. :(

i like both but i do have a preference to cats. i think they are really adorable when they are little are pretty when they grow bigger. don't get me wrong, i love dogs alot too, i'm just more of a cat person.
