Edward VII - Extra Info? Well, he was sick with appendicitis just before he was to be crowned, which in those days was usually fatal. The whole country held its breath while the scheduled coronation was postponed while the doctors successfully nursed him back to health (which was a real rarity in those days) and the whole country heaved a sigh of relief for this well liked king.

after victoria died, edward vii took the throne. he died in 1910 and george v took over when he died it was suppose to go to edward viii but he was in love with an american actress , mrs. wallis warfield simpson, he chose her over the throne, his brother took over and became george vi. i'm sure english royalty .com will give u all u need to know
