Because he's the President/politician. It's just part of the job description.
Good presidents are good liars, bad presidents are bad liars. A bad liar is one that gets caught in a lie. Like Bush.

Don't be so nieve, they ALL lie, but we as constituents roll the dice and vote for them anyway and hope for the best. Clinton was a disgrace, and still doesn't show any humility for his behavior. If I did the things that that man did I would go keep a low profile. At least President Bush is no coward, unlike Clinton he is taking the stance of a strong leader NOT a sex starved hound dog. But just like you I'm entitled to my opinion.

Reporter, you need to state your sources for this list of "lies". You are obviously the one that is struggling with honesty. Find a single source for one of your accusations that has not taken the words out of context and twisted the situation. You know that Presidend Bush does not lie. You refuse to come to terms with the lies President Clinton was found legally guilty of. This is like the child that gets caught stealing and tries to deflect attention by pointing fingers at someone else. Time to grow up and face real facts.

For Pink Lady

Under Yale's grading system in effect at the time, grades between 90 and 100 equaled an A, 80-89 a B, 70-79 a C, 60 to 69 a D, and anything below that was a failing grade.
Kerry had a cumulative average of 76 and got four Ds his freshman year - in geology, two history courses and political science, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.

His grades improved with time, and he averaged an 81 his senior year and earned an 89 - his highest grade - in political science as a senior.
Bush's highest grade at Yale was an 88 in anthropology, history and philosophy. He received one D in his four years, a 69 in astronomy, and improved his grades after his freshman year, the transcript showed.
In 1999, The New Yorker magazine published a transcript showing Bush had a cumulative grade average of 77 his first three years at Yale, and a similar average under a non-numerical rating system his senior year.

You can see that both Mr. Kerry and President Bush have very close GPA's from Yale. Check it out yourself. Time for you to quit lying.

You are completely out of your gourd. WHAT A LIAR!!!! You are so out of touch with reality you probably test your sanity with a dipstick. When did the President lie? Give me an example. Money he's made from Iraqi oil, PROVE IT. You need to knock off the Kool Aid.

This is so fun!
What lies... name one that dems or rep haven't said too?
The world is a dangerous place child... srry to have to break it to you.
The world is a dangerous place because of people who won't stand up for what is right. It is called diplomacy now.
Can you name one war that has been diverted because of diplomacy? If you say the cold war, I will laugh!

I'd love you to give us ONE LIE that GWB uttered since he took office.

This is a classic liberal tactic going back to the Bolsheviks. When someone says anything you don't like, attack their honesty and attack them personally.

These are the same two-faced frauds who thought "EVERYONE LIES" when an ex-President perjured himself.

You are so right. This war is all about him and his friends making lots of money. He was behind the 9/11 myth so he could justify to the American people that his war was just and honorable. One day his lies will be known to all and he surely will go down as the worst president in history.

Because he doesnt see it that way. Bush and his boys have spent most of their lives lying and living a lie (such as how he got into Yale& graduated with his D+ average) and pretentiously thinking that they are so privileged that they can get away with it-- now his lies have gotten him in so deep he can't see his way out of it. It's ok for him to lie so that he and his friends can make more money (Dick Cheny + Halliburton etc) but now lot of people are dying and some of the US is waking up to the fact that this is BS. Not only are people dying, but if that doesnt tick them off, the fact that our tax dollars are paying for it,and there is not much of a return on that. Plus with gas prices skyrocketing as they have, he doesnt have as much credibility as he had. Can't wave the flag and get people to cheer like he used to, or yell 911 and have everyone genuflect. Hopefully more and more people are catching on to what a bunch of thugs we have in Washington and we'll get together and do something about it. Maybe.
