Pap smears are routinely done begining at age 21 or after three years of sexual actvity, which ever comes first. So, if someone starting having sex at age 17, they should start having pap smears at age 20. Also, a "pap smear" refers to a diagnostic test, not the exam itself. A "pap smear" is a test that takes some cells from a woman's cervix, it is a cervical cancer screening tool. Your health care provider may want you to have a pelvic exam and breast exam based on your health history, a pap smeat may or not be a part of this exam depending on what your provider deems prudent for you.

Here we are giving them wine with a bit of of water from the time they are able to sit down on the desk. They can drink within the bars by means of sixteen despite the fact that they have got a strict one beer prohibit. Maybe that's what the FSM will do, they are able to drink however best with supervision and a reduce off prohibit. Some adults would require this as good, however its Pastafarian heaven so might be there aren't any downsides anymore.

Yes you should get it done every year for three years continuously then if the report is normal for 3 years then you can get it done once every 3 years.
If you are sexually active now then you need the pap smear now and every year for the next three years

It's a good idea to get a pap smear as soon as you're sexually active, and the doctor might recommend one even if you're not. Pap smears test for cervical cancer, and if you have HPV (human papilloma virus, and STD) this can increase your risk for cervical cancer.

You are supposed to, especially if you are sexually active. Don't let people freak you out about it. It's not that big of a deal. Definetly not the most comfy thing in the world, but not horribly painful like people act like it is. My cousin freaked me out about it when she had one and I was scared for years...for no reason!

pap smears test for cervical cancer and can diagnois HPV (which often is the root of cervical cancer and is the virus that can cause genital warts). and since one in 3 sexually active girls have HPV, it is a good idea to get one every year unless you are with one partner and your sure he is, then ever 3 years.

Yes....I started when I was 16. I had cervical dysplasia when I was 19, so by all means yes, go get one. It could save your life, and yes, things like that happen to young people.

You need to get one once you're 18 or start having sex. Which ever comes first. Then you have to go for an annual checkup once a year. Good times!!!
