If you have MS Windows, then:
1. If the words are big only on the IE, go to View-->Text Size-->Then change it to a small one.
or
2. If the words are big everywhere, right click on the background--->Properties--then carnage the screen resolution to a higher one... If your screen resolution is something in the 1000s*1000s, then the letters should be small.,

If you have a mouse with a roller in the middle just hold down the control key and roll it back and forth.

Sounds like you've changed the resolution of your screen. Go into settings in the control panel and try changing it.

If your mouse has a scrtoll button an easy way is press and hold CTRL down while moving your mouse scroll up and down to where you like it
