how do you get pictures on you i pod?

whenever my friend plays a song on her i pod it shows a pic of the of the singer. my doesnt

all you need to do is add album art in itunes, and it will sync the picture along with the song. If you are running the most current version of itunes, then it will automatically download album art from the music store. if not, go to www.apple.com to download the newest version. If you already have your album art in itunes, then when you plug your ipod in, you need to change the setting in itunes that allows album art. PS. the most current version of itunes is version 7.0.1
