That doesn't soound like a big enough fall to damage it. be specific,

what happens when you try to play a game?
Can you get into the browser?
Is the power light on?
Do you hear the fan running?
Is it a slim Ps2 or the old version?
Is it making any strange noises when you turn it on?

if u are in the ny area there are several places that repair em real cheap....but im pretty sure no matter where u live there is some computer shop that can replace any damaged parts and it would prolly run ya sum where near $45.....depending how much damage but the most sensitive parts include the driver and optical lense which is pretty much the same parts....um u can even check this site for replacement parts and even instructions on how to do the labor yourself..... http://www.richspsxparts.com/psx2.html

good luck with that....ps2s are def worth saving unless money isn't an issue then you can go for the ps3...

Thats funny, i had the same problem. But instead i accidently dropped it about 1 metre up from the floor. Mine wasn't working either but then i pushed in all the cords and checked them and everything and it worked. But if it was the old version it might get more damage. I
suggest that if it still continues to not work then maybe you should take it to where you bought it from. Or you could just sell it on Ebay :D just kidding. Hope this was helpful (as i have expierienced practically that same thing) :)

If i were you, you should take it to a store that sells gaming systems like "Game Stop" and have it checked out.
