Mac is definitely the high end, the product is more concentrated and the ingredients are more activated. MAC is like BMW/Mercedes and Covergirl/MaxFactor is like the Ford or Chevy. I own a cosmetics company with my wife and we develop our own cosmetics but sell MAC as one of our products. It is really expensive, but it's what the professionals use. Great quality especially in the lipstick and face makeup(concealer, foundation, etc.) but I love all the selection in the eye shadows. They have some GORGEOUS colors. It's often what you'll find professional makeup artists using.

i love mac, especially their eyeliners because you can control how much you want on. cause most of the other eyeliners come out really dark or thick if you just run it over once. lol it might just be me, but mac is amazing

They over-price the stupid product to make ppl think its te BEST....any other makeup can compare to it or can be even better...i dont get why the charge $40+ for powder foundation and more that $20 for brushes...insane...i guess it only girls with big wallets
