I have a notepad on my desktop.Dont know how it got there can anyone help?

The notepad seems suspicious because it has alot of information about me.I went to the help section it said people you trust can view all of the information that you view.On top it says unexpected error.The THREADS,under it PROCESSES,under that JAVATHREADS then it said it was built oct.2005.Im kind of computer illiterate ,i am afraid to put important info on my computer.I tried setting back the clock to a week ago because i just noticed it.Thank you very much who can help to tell me if its something to worry about.

Run a spyware and virus scan. Then delete it.

sounds like spy ware you should clean out your computer re program it and get a good security system
