Is there a way to find out if you have carbon monoxide in your home without those ditectors?

I think my mom's house has them but i'm not sure. I still live with my parents and this is an old house.

The detectors are not all that expensive and you'd only need one of them. You might even be able to rent one for a short period. Have you checked it out? By the way, why should anyone make fun of you for still living with your folks? I did till age 26. When you are ready and it's right for you, you'll make the move and never look back. Good luck.

You can get CO detector strips that change color when
introduced to an unsafe level of CO. Check with your nearest hardware store.

they have co2 patches.they turn a color slowly if not enough to set off a detector.but fast if there is a problem. enjoy your parents while u can before you get domesticated.lol!

my suggestion to you is get some houseplants some plants can eat carbon monoxides.try a couple of chinese evergreens (Aglaonema)

Yeah, have your blood tested, it replaces oxygen in the blood.
