I don't know which to buy! I'd like the DS to play Sims and Mario Kart, I'd like PSP because it's like the iPod Video but with a little more things to add to it and I'd want the iPod Video because I have some videos and my iPod won't update songs! Which one is worth buying?

DS
Pros:
Has touch screen, is a lot cheaper. At first had bad game selection, but now there is a lot of games. Metroid Prime Hunters is especially good.
Cons: Has less gadgets than PSP or IPOD. Also cartridges are small and easily lost. (Trust me I know):

PSP
Pros:
Many features including Internet and music. Amazing graphics. Intuitive controls.

Cons:
A little bulkier than the other two products. Small selection of games. Needs memory cards which stinks for a handheld. Is most pricey, after the memory cards and games.

Video Ipod
Pros:
Can play video's and music (obviously). Is in color. Has huge memory.

Cons: Pricey. Very weak battery (an hour and a half of video drains it). Has minor glitches.

Bottom Line:

1st: I would get the DS just because I'm a Nintendo fan but that's just me. What else is great about it is it is relatively cheap compared to the other two and is very durable.

2nd: The PSP is a nice gadget I must admit, but it is just too pricey for what it is worth. If you've got a lot of money to through around or it is a gift, then heck get this one, but the DS is more hardy and less expensive.

3rd: Video IPOD This is the thing you get if you you're not a big gamer. Otherwise stick with the other two. You should get the 60 Gig though because it has a longer battery. Is very pricey which is not good.

don't go ipod...it's a waste when the psp does it all...
get a PSP... then go after about month head out to the store and buy a used DS or even a new on...
both the ds and psp have wifi gameplay... I use both, the ds because I got the emu kit and use a 2gb memory disk to store over 2000 gba which i legally backed up but are also available to consumers.with that I don't need to carry all my disks around with me and I can play all I want no matter what i feel like playing. also ds has a personal organizer. (and you can use a game genie, for the kids)
With psp you can use expand your memory to the newest 4gb sansdisc and store everything, and with the kits use it like a pocket pc. They have kits like that. I use it to check my email and do my online stuff when I am not at my desk at home.there is even adaptors for the PSP that gave me a TV and HDTV out so I can use the TV as a monitor. Another nice kit was the pen adaptor we found which let us use a stylus like the ds.
so it all depends on your taste... If it's for media, PSP... Also sims and mario cart are available in psp imported game format. as well as all nintendo games for gameboy. just depends on how much memory you can afford.

Nintendo Ds is really nice the PSP is cool but the sound sucks for videos needs a brighter screen and it's amazing how quickly the screen smudges!DS lite are 130$ thats whole lot cheeper than a PSP!Plus the DS lite has a super bright screen with great sound! But do not buy a DS get the DS lite they're the same price but the Ds lite is so much better!

don't consider the DS unless all you're interested in is gaming-there are some mods for it that allow other types of media, but all are 3rd party and fairly faulty. The PSP allows for very little actual storage on the device, but is the best of the 3 for gaming, and also plays UMD's (Universal Media Disks) of a select number of movies. But if you're considering the iPod Video, WAIT A FEW MONTHS. In my personal opinion, this (the iPod) is the best choice, but the reason I tell you to wait is that in December, or possibly January, the true iPod video will be released. This will have a screen the size of the entire front of the iPod and a touchscreen clickwheel integrated into the screen. Also look for larger storage sizes and more games. Hope this was helpful!

Get a Nintendo DS! I have a red one and they are great! I pods and PSPs are pricey and really not all that great even know they make them seem more grown up and they are trying to turn 8 year olds into 35 year olds! But buy the one you like best!

the wii will be hardly any good. there default controllers should be accesories not the actual controllers. get the nintendo ds lite. its awesome. no defects like some of the psp's. but if you don't play games then def the ipod video, although i can advise you to wait for the "Zune" (microsofts new mp3 player to compete with the ipod) it will have a bluetooth capability where you can get songs and other stuff from someone next to you without wires or anything.
