Its nothing to worry too much about. It could just be shadowing on the picture or the position you were in. At 15 weeks the baby is so small that it will rarely effect the fetus. If you progress and the amniotic fluid is still low it can cause concern.
The baby basically breathes the fluid and also ingests and excreets the fluid. If the levels are low the baby can become cramped and the cord can compress. The inhale and exhale and digestive mechanisms can become labored. Oligohydramnios- the proper term- can also cause issues during birth.
For right now talk to your doctor about your options and try not to worry. Its really not all that uncommon and usually works itself out.

If you have low levels of amniotic fluid, your caregiver will follow your baby closely to be sure he continues to grow normally. How your pregnancy will be managed depends on how far along you are, how your baby's doing, and whether you have other complications.

If you're near term, labor will be induced. In some cases, you may need to have your baby early — if you have severe preeclampsia or your baby isn't thriving in the womb, for instance.

In any case, your baby will monitored very closely with frequent ultrasounds and nonstress tests, as well as biophysical profiles and possibly Doppler studies. You'll be asked to drink plenty of fluids, do fetal kick counts, and let your caregiver know immediately if you notice your baby becoming less active.

Low levels of amniotic fluid can increase your risk of complications during labor. The main concern is that the fluid level will get so low that your baby's movements or your contractions will compress the umbilical cord.

During labor, your practitioner may pass a flexible catheter through your cervix so that she can pump a steady supply of warm saline solution into the amniotic sac to reduce the risk of cord compression. If your baby can't safely tolerate labor, your doctor or midwife will recommend a c-section.

Your OB is immediately given the report by the radiologist who reviews it. The ultrasound tech should not have given you any information, beyond "yup it's a baby" and "it's a boy/girl." They are strictly prohibited from giving any other information.

Your OB will read the report, and determine if the fluid is low. Sometimes, if the fluid really is low - they will give you artificial fluid until the baby can be delivered.

Right now, don't worry. Call your OB & discuss your concern. Chances are, if they haven't done anything by now, then you're really ok.

Low fluid could indicate that the baby may have a problem with it's kidneys, so it may not be producing urine. It could also mean that you are leaking fluid. Have you noticed any wetness or increase in running to the bathroom? Sometimes fluid leaking can make you think you have to pee a lot. Call your OB/GYN's office and tell them what you read on the report and ask them to have the doctor call you.

well im not sure why they didnt bring it to your attention but throughout my last pregnancy, i had low amniotic fluid until one day when i was having my 3rd ultrasound, they said the baby was moving, was breach and had low amniotic fluid. all the of those things gave them a reason to due an emergency c-section at 34 weeks. but just check with your doc because everyone is different and she may put you on light bed rest.

It's not good if your fluid is low. It could mean you have a small hole or tear in your amniotic sac. IF that is the case they would probably try to hospitalize you until atleast 24 weeks.

dont worry, worrying is going to cause more problems for your baby than low fluid! The doctor will advise you of any problems and find ways to solve them whether it be medications or putting you off certain foods.

That is not good at all. You should try to contact your doctor and see what is going on. You might have a tear & or even a small hole in your bag. If it is a hole it may even cause a infection. But I would try to contact someone at your doctors office as soon as possible. GOOD LUCK!!
