Okay I can see that there is the tiniest chance that the provisions of the detainee bill might apply to some American citizens. But what if you never break the law and always vote Republican and never criticize Bush? And what if you got arrested accidentally. Like because someone confused you with someone else. Or you were at a Republican fundraiser and you sat next to someone who had a relative who once sold someone a tv system that gets the Hezbollah channel and you were taken in for questioning. Someone would hear about it and get you out, right? They'd give you a chance to prove your innocence and your loyalty, right?

I have one of those faces that is easily mistaken for somebody everyone has seen somewhere. I always have to worry about being a case of mistaken identity.
