Evolution has de-selected all humans who have density greater than a rock. They all sank into the earth.

why?
there is no why involved here
thats like asking why is black darker than white
its part of the definition
the density of a human is less than the density of a rock because the things that a human is made of are less dense than the things that a rock is made of
in other words, the denser thing is denser because it is denser, because its per volume mass (or density) is higher
why?
why is a big rock heavier than a small rock
because its bigger? because it weighs more?

Due to the compression of rock formation, they are constantly pushed and pulled towards the center of the earth or gravity, which in turn causes the particles to compress more densely.

God is great, he made everything perfect: if we had rock's density, we wouldn't be alive; if rocks had ower, there wouldn't be enough space on earth for something else!

because rocks form under pressure, either inside earth (the presure caomes from the mass above the forming rocks) or in sediements (the pressure comes from the upper layers)

rocks that are denser than people are so because they are composed of solid minerals with a high molucular weight.
people are composed mostly of liquid formed from gaseous elements.
some rocks are less dense than people though. check out floating pumice (full of tiny bubbles).
