I thought she was gay?(Two and a half men question)?

On the last episode of Two and a Half Men, it shows that Judie(Alan's exwife) is getting married to a guy

Now I thought she was a lesbian. Did the writers change their minds?

I think it was just an experimental thing, she had just got out of a divorce.

I've been watching the show since it started. She's always dated men.
