I have nothing against homosexuality or those who partake in such behavior. However, I wonder why so many gays/lesbians have to be so "in your face" about it. I don't care if you are gay, so why do you feel so inclined to tell me about it?

I am not homosexual but I know MANY people who are and not a single one ever got "in my face".... it is people like you that make the rest of us look bad to the gay community. Grow up! If you dont like something IGNORE IT

First of all I'm a femmie so you would never know I was gay. I used to do that because I never felt like I could talk about my life, what I did over the weekend unless I said something right away because my weekend and my life include my girlfriend and children....maybe people are just telling you about their everyday life which includes a same sex relationship and your taking it as if they are throwing it in your face.....where as they are just having a conversation.

God says, to thy own self be true. If gays/lesbian can manage it don't you think you should try. Also, considering that the phrase ..."in the closest".... was coined by the straight community in the first place as a "put down" to homosexuals, where do you think the blame really lies?

Because nobody wants to live their life in hiding. Also before we came out and made ourselves heard we had no civil rights, Cops would beat and incarcerate us for no reason at all. It's easier to discriminate against people that nobody really knows.

I totally disagree with you, the majority of Gay people that I know keep their private lives to themselves, I know I do. I share my personal life with friends and family. Maybe should find different places to hang out

Because my closet door lock has been broken for many many moons and now I am out for life, there's no fixing that door, LOL. It seems like you are just a tad homophobic??

do we? i don't remember ever saying hi i'm queer. y'all assume and say something then i'm in your face, or is holding hands, kissing, hugging (all things breeders do) too in your face. i'll make a deal with you . you stop all straight people from showing public displays of affection and i'll get the 'mos to do the same.

There's no reason to hide who and what you are. Frankly, If I have to hear about your wife, your kids, and so on, the very least you can do to be polite is hear about my chosen mate as well.
