Well, actually there is no short way of doing but you might go over there or try making German-speaking friends; however, the crucial thing is that you should really be into learning German and follow a proper strategy in learning vocabulary as well as grammar. In addition, listening to radio or songs may help. you can also sign in an intensive course but you must always keep in mind that you wouldn't learn anything overnight. Nevertheless, good luck, you'll do it if you're sufficiently ambitious.

Sorry there is no SHORT way. YKou could go to the google.com and type in German vocabulary... and there are some links associated with that.. you could learn some basic grammar.. verbs..etc but that is not the important thing you know.. You could practice and practice those verbs.. BUT.. the BEST way is to go to a school where you get immersed into the language.... Intensive learning... I learned 5 languages but by immersion and that was the ONLY way FOR ME... That would mean going to Germany(they have immersion classes)... It is possible to find some classes in the U.S.(if that is where you are) but it is best to learn ONLY from a native speaker believe me....Going to a community college is NOT the answer where you go to class a couple times a week.. It might be alright for beginning but not for REALLY learning and particularly if you want to become fluent

If you want a new / quick way to learn another language, this is it.
It won't make you a pro overnight (only practice will do that) but it will get you speaking rather quickly.
