Yes they did. They feel strongly about the elections.
They probably voted conservatively... but I don't ask.
But they grew up in the depression, so they know what hardship is.

Does it have to be my parents? I mean, they did but so did I.

I voted because it's a priviledge that people have fought and died for around the world. To not vote is a slap in the face of the citizens of nations that do not have this right.

And voting allows me to be a part of the process... if things don't go the way I hoped, at least I did my part.

Yes my parents voted and so did I and my husband. It is part of your civic duty as an adult. If you don't vote you have no right to grip about who gets into office or what they do while in office!! If you don't like how the government is run you have to get out there and vote in who you think will do the best job for you.

Yes. My parents have always set a fine example of civic responsibility for me. They search for information, discuss it calmly and then do not pressure each other to vote one way or the other. They are intelligent, civic minded and do what they say they will.

My parents are dead...
But I did! :)
Doesn't matter which election you're asking about (you didn't specify, and the next one is in a couple of weeks), 'cause I always vote...

Yes, my whole immediate family did. We usually do, simply because we all feel that it's important to vote. One voice is simply not enough, but millions!... Well, that's a force to be reckoned with!

Always. It's called citizen responsibility.
Just like paying taxes.
