okay here's the deal my best friend and i always fight. I mean at least twice a month. Half time we're fighting i never pay attention. when she yells at me i just zone out. that pisses her off even more. Then of course she starts crying and blaming me for everything. So i roll my eyes and continue to zone out. then i ask her why she is crying and she says "oh my gosh you don't even care." then i walk home and we don't talk for a week. i approach her to say hi and she walks right by me. then of course when she approaches me i answer. she ignores me yet she expects me to chase her. what the heck? i noticed she only treats me like this. she has never got into a fight with her other friends. any advice

i'm getting tired of fighting. she always does stuff to spite me when she's mad at me. She will talk really loud and say stuff like "yeah my best friend Jen" as if i'm not her friend. Personally, i'm tired of this. It's my junior year. I don't want to deal with anymore. I'm making the decision to stop associating myself with her permanently. it's annoying. is this the right the decision?

Well, obviously this is your choice, but here's what i would do.
I don't really like losing friends, so if she was a good one, i would talk to her and try to make her understand my perspective. If that didn't work, then i owuld hang out with her less, or something similar.
So, yea, if you really think that your friendship is getting worse, then you should stop hanging out and talking to her. Maybe you two just need some space?
Good Luck

Okay, This is a difficult situation! Im younger than you and all but I know how difficult it can be to have a friend like that. What I would do at first is talk to her about it. If she explodes in your face you should just tell her to be quiet and tell her your side. Maybe she will understand.
If that doesnt work you can try to have another of your friends with you when she does all this stuff. Then maybe if its coming from two people she will understand her actions.
Hey, im not saying you are completely right either. If you two are having fights like this and you arent even listening, its rather painful and makes her feel like she's not important. And thats not fair to her. You should try listening to what she is saying, even if its slander. Just try it when you two fight again, who knows, it might get you somewhere.
And if you two just flat out can not get along any more, I would suggest finding a new friend! That may be the only thing that will work in your situation. Lets hope you can keep your friend. Good Luck! :-)

You should stop being her friend. No friend should ever do that.I had to let one of my friends go because i was in the exact same situation as you are right know.just walk up to her and say," look we've been fighting way too much and its really annoying. I think we should go our seperate ways and see how it turns out. But i want to end our friendship because of this mess." then just walk away and don't argue back, that will just cause more problems than you want.

As hard as this sounds, you need to get some new friends. Something like this happened to me and it was a nightmare, forget 2x a month we fought 1x a week at least. In the end I got sick of it. I have a whole set of new friends and I love them. You might be like, well she's my best fried, but that's what I thought about her too. Once you start getting new peepes, u'll figure out she's actually not that great.
P.S I really need the points for best answer! Please!!!!!!!

I am soooo not trying to be mean when I say this but my 9 yr old is going through the same deal. She keeps giving this girl chance after chance. I have told her(my girl) to stop talking to her all together.People like this are bad to be involved with and will only bring out more hurt.Totally move on and don't let her in. No more chances for her,OK!

Having read your story, I think you are absolutely right to sever all ties with her. She is not a friend and you deserve better.

Get involved in something bigger than ego..this pettiness is indicative of one who is stuck in a very small world of reality
