I thought that the Batman played by Adam West was best out on its own. please remember that it is not a real life storyand it was so silly (but we all played it at primary school with our sleeves tucked in our duffle coats) Silly and unreal (well it does come from a comic book/cartoon strip the others were good but Jack Nicholsens Joker was third rate copmpared to his sixties predecessor. The most recent additions to the Batman collection are good (I poswess them all too ) but they are in a different league as film technology has made a gigantic leap since computers can now create realistic fantasy worlds.
So the camp of the sixties made the best creations -and you think \Batman isn't camp? Oh boy who wears tights in your nieghbourhood? The Great Pumpkin?

Depends on which era you are asking about. There was the original Adam West series movie from 1966. Then there are the newer movies, starting with the first movie in 1989. There have been a total of 5 of the new era movies, plus the animated movie (movies?).

okay there was one in 1966, with adam west, there were 4 in the legacy that began in 1989, till 1997, and there was one last year (Batman Begins, not connected to the previous 4 at all, no matter what you read) and the sequel to that isreleased in 2008.
