'Thank You' by Dido has soft, pretty vocals and touching lyrics. 'Ever The Same' by Rob Thomas is great, as is 'Somewhere Only We Know' by Keane.
Also, 'Because You Loved Me' by Celine Dion and 'A Moment Like This' by Kelly Clarkson.
My actual favorite love songs are both Indian--a tie between "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" from the movie of the same name, and "Suraj Hua Maddham" from Khabi Khushi Khabi Gham.
