I'm in middle school and i want to try out for my school talent show. I'm going to sing but I only know Christian songs. I want to sing something other than that, something poeple will enjoy. Not rap though. What would be an appropiate song that they would enjoy. (I'm a girl...so i need a girl song.

Go country. Many successful country singers have had their start in singing at church. Look through the net for an upbeat country song by any female artist. Country songs are similar to christan music so you should not have a problem. Make sure it is fast and upbeat. The more daring the song, the more people will enjoy it.

Try something by Evanescence their song My Immortal is hauntingly beautiful, try to pick a song that doesn't have a lot of high notes and you should be great. Good Luck!

I know they aren't females but it isn't a widely played song and could be sung by either sex. Listen to it, it is a great song and I always think of my grandchildren when I hear it.

im in middle school right now, and i know that alota people like "my happy ending" -by avril lagivne,
only the thing is, people are gettin bored of her, but the song is great.
onlytheres just one part where she cusses.... maybe you can somehow leave that out???
