Like having twins at the same time but two different fathers?

I know there are people saying "no" here... but I believe it IS possible to have twins with two different fathers.

There are two types of twins: Identical and Fraternal.

Identical twins are the same zygote, split in two.... so they would have the same father.

But Fraternal twins are two separate fertilized eggs which form separately, at the same time. They could actually be conceived on two different dates, and if the woman had sex with two different men, that close together, yes twins could have two different fathers.

Actually, even though it is extremely rare for this to happen, sometimes a woman CAN ovulate while pregnant, and then get pregnant again. I have seen this on the news years ago. It is not likely that unless you have had sex with more than one guy on the same day that they would both father a baby if you happened to release 2 eggs

yes...it's rare but possible. I have a cousin who has 2 uterus's and they told her when she was pregnant that she had to be careful cause it was possible to get pregnant again while she was already pregnant. Also there are situation when fraternal twins which are two eggs that were fertilized get fertilized on different days. They could have the same father or different. SO...yep it's possible just rare!

If the twins are fraternal, then yes it is a possibility that there could be two fathers. Fraternal twins are from 2 fertilized eggs.

Yes it can if two or more eggs are present and lets say you have different guys running trains on you and both eggs get fertilized it is very much possible! but they are still considered twins even though they have different fathers.

In theory, maybe, but it would take a woman's ovaries releasing two eggs, then having sex with two different guys in quick succession, with the second guy's sperm being slightly quicker than the first guys', and one from each batch getting to the eggs at the same time. Highly unlikely in the real world.

With artificial insemination, however, it's quite possible, but not something a whole lot of people would want I'm guessing.

its extremely rare. i had a friend that was 4 months pregnant and all of a sudden got her period. she freaked out and went to the hospital and they discovered that she has 2 uteruses. They told her she had to be super-careful because it was possible that she could get pregnant in the other uterus at the same time.
its extremely rare and i think its less that 1 in 1000.

these people are very ignorant and rude, calling you stupid for asking. its actually a very fascinating concept and these people are just closed minded for thinking the way they do.

This is very possible, if you drop several eggs during your ovulation and have had intercourse with different men within about a 5-7 day period. It is very rare but does happen sometimes.
