well i always wear fake necklaces and stuff like that but never fake earrings. i want to buy a pair but im not sure if i will get an infection in my hole. i was thinking that since fake necklaces dont effect my skin it wont effect my ear peircing. but then again that part is more sensative.
any tips??

The only way to find out is to try it. Just make sure that if you recently got your ears pierced, wait however long they tell you (I think it's at least a couple of months) before you try the fake earrings. I didn't when I got mine done at 11, they got infected and ever since then, I have a reaction to pretty much any costume jewelry. I suspect that wearing the earrings too soon triggered that reaction since I always wore junk jewelry as a kid with no problem.

actualy i umm get rashes around my neck when i put on fake silver but your ear won't get infected because even though its punctured its not an open wound so just make sure your piercing is healed and youll be fine if by any chance you do have a reacction to the fake jewelry it wasn't because of your ear you were just allergic and it was your body just put some rash ointment and thats it good luck

If your ears are healed, and you don't leave them in for days at a time you'll be ok. Even the cheaper ones have surgical steel posts, usually, which is plenty safe. Besides, some of the prettiest ones are the glitzy cheap sparklies!

i always wear fake earings, nuthing happens but it depends if ur sensitive or not, im not so it doznt matter. best way to find out is to try. the infection wont last alifetime

Claires have fake earings but they have the sensitive solutions..... so Claire's usually wont give you an infections...

you can as long as they have surgical steel posts. but if price is an issue why not wear sterling silver earrings they are cheap and they wont infect your ears.
