I not only talk to my plants, Music is great for them, also. You can't see it, but there is a slow process of a bending toward you or music as long as it is positive and gentle, just as they reach for the sunshine. Besides when someone lives alone, she does not always want to talk to the walls. (I am married now, but not to a plant--HA HA! Peace and Joy!

I do not, because I do not own any plants inside the house, they're all outside.
But I heard from somewhere, that talking to them helps you feel positive, and the carbon dioxide you're expelling feeds the plant. And that's why people do it.

Just did, to my cantaloupes & jalapenos, B4 I got on Answers. 4 me, I've found it to B true, that plants do better when U talk R sing 2 them. Also I found out that if U curse the squirrels & rabbits and shoot'em with a pellet gun, that also helps them grow better

yes, i talk to my fly trap
and as u may not know
the reason people belive that talking to plants helps them grow
is because its true
when u talk, or open your mouth u breathe out carbon dioxide
and when u talk to plants the plants get that carbon dioxide that u breathe out
plants live on it
i havent studied plants in a while so i forget what teh proccess is called but plants take in carbon dioxide, then the proccess gives the plants nutrients(also they need sun light and water...duh) that is how a plant..lives.... so by talking to your plants u give them carbon dioxide that they need to grow
so yes i talk to my plant, and yes talking to plants actually does help them grow

I dont even own plants.
My mother does. She thinks it makes them gorw faster and makes them healthier. She talks to her car too.

No. I find that if I don't water them, their dry sarcasm annoys me. And when I do water them, their slurred speech angers me. I decided I won't ever speak to any plant again, unless it can stand firm and hold its drink.

what the hell, how can you talk to a plant..what will you say to them lol i never heard that....talking does not make a plant grow....good temperature and water makes them grow
