Could somone explain to me the movie Godsend i would really like to understand it

Well, the movie was about a kid who died on his 12th (I think it was) birthday, and his parents were approached by a man who did work in cloning (Al Pachino). They agreed, but the man put some of his own son's DNA into the clone (who was an EVIL child), and his evil qualities started coming out soon after the original son's death happened in the second son's life.
