I think so - the amount of deaths each year is terrible. Lets face it, those streets were not made for the bikes of today racing round at the speeds they can now reach. The whole thing is just too unsafe now.

If they were going to stop IOM because of deaths, why not the Dakar CC bike race too?
Professional motorsports enthusiasts realize the dangers that face them once the helmet comes on, and that alone demands a lot of respect for them.

No Way
The racers there do so of their own free will,we have already become a nanny-state telling us what we can and cannot do.
Why should racers or anyone be told they cannot partake in dangerous pastimes?
People now are occupying themselves in all sorts of extreme sports to make them 'feel alive',part of the risk of that is death.
I would rather 'go out' early knowing that I had lived a little rather than live to a ripe old age having been cushioned all my life!

Never. They know the risks. Maybe we should ban walking? Have you seen how many pedestrians are killed each year stepping in front of vehicles, which lets face it are pretty damned hard to miss. More people drown fishing each year than drown swimming. Lets ban that as well.

Yes, motor sport is about excellence and professionalism, not about being stupid.
