something that females do not like having!

The menstrual cycle is a recurring cycle of physiological changes in the females associated with reproductive fertility.
The menstrual cycle is under the control of the reproductive hormone system and is necessary for reproduction.

In women, menstrual cycles occur typically on a monthly basis between puberty and menopause.

anywhere from 2 to 7 days is considered normal.[3] The average blood loss during menstruation is 35 millilitres with 10-80 mL considered normal

While cycle length may vary, 28 days is generally taken as representative of the average ovulatory cycle in women.

How does it feel??yucky, nasty, but after awhile you get use to it. if you are using a pad, you will feel the blood... yuck i know... change often.... if you are using tampons, there is a risk to that but much cleaner, and you dont feel it inside of you.

A period occurs about every 28 days. The blood lining of the uterus is shed. It lasts between 5 and 7 days for most people. It doesn't hurt, but some people get cramps in the lower stomach. A few asprin can cure this.

I personally asked this to my mom, and she gave me a book about it. But if you really have no one else to ask... this is a good website all about that kind of thing.
