Ask a contractor if he has a remodeling job going on & beg a few.
Do believe there is a replacement shingle w/out asbestos for this purpose.

I gave you the best answer I could give before but remember when the tiles break thats when it releases the asbestos If your "friend" is certified he will know what to do, remember what I said about disposal, also keep in mind if the nieghbors see you they may call in, then you are screwed under the act I mentioned the authorities will takeover the abatement (cleanup)and charge you accordingly could be tens of thousands I can tell your hard headed so go your own way ...PPE stands for personal protection equipment
