You are asking a leading question you silly girl.
Human Beings are the cause of all the world's (notice the apostrophe) trouble. If you have a problem with religion, think it through.

I do agree that Religion seems to be the cause of an awfull lot of the strife in the world throughout history.

But by the same token it has also been the unifying feature of nations and instigated a social structure and common social boundaries which make up the better parts of the human existence.

Tough question , but I think personally I would fall into the category that would rather see all forms of religion cease for the greater good by way of removing the 'differences that separate more than unify in todays world.

So called religions are real, dear. I don't believe faith is the cause of all the worlds' troubles. Organized religion, however is a real problem as it gets to the "I'm better than you" and "You need to be controlled" issues which is what causes many of the worlds' troubles.

Look at how much trouble atheistic communism caused. Joseph Stalin, Mao Tsung, Pol Pot and the like killed more people in the name of communism than all of the religious wars in all of history combined. Millions were tortured, starved, worked to death, etc. all in the name of atheism.

When the atheists were in charge, they did a lot worse than any religion.

Don't forget that the Civil Rights Movement in the U.S. was started by the Reverend Martin Luther king, Jr. and the congregation of Ebenezer Baptist Church. The general idea of human rights and human equality came from the teachings of Jesus and the writings of the apostle Paul. And Christianity invented the idea of the University, the orphanage, rights for slaves, women & prisoners. Without Christianity, most of our hospitals and charties would not exist.

I could go on, but I am tired of typing.

It's not religion it's those who claim to be religious and allow their own human weaknesses to pervert the meaning of their teachings.
if people followed the true meaning of their respective faiths the world would be a much happier place.
I'm agnostic and now, and have totally given up on organised religion

False religion which includes most religion is the cause of most wars. The religious leaders are lyers. Is there really 70 virgins waiting for these guys when they kill their self. Are they really even going to heaven? Wouldn't that just make the heavens violent.
Christianity isn't any better most of there customs are pagan teaching or out right lies. Santa Clause? Easter bunny?
come on there isn't a tooth fairy either. They are all liars formenting war.

If it isn't religion as you know it, something else will cause the problems. Problems will always be around in the form of greed, selfishness and love of power. Its all religion; taking on different forms.

There's lots of trouble not caused by religion, like earthquakes and tsunamis and Tony Blair.

Unless you think all of those are the will of God
