im graduating this year so i want this to be the perfect picture. im black and i have permed straight shoulder length hair. what are some new ways i can style my hair??
i usually do it half up and half down because it fits my face nicely.
any tips??

Speaking from experience..try to keep it classic, nothing too bizarre. Then when your kids look at it they won't laugh and ask what were you thinking. It also makes for future blackmail. It sounds like you have a nice classic style now. This is how people see you every day, so let them look back and remember you as you were, not wondering who is that girl??

well my mom is Asian and i got long straight hair,its kinda kinky at the end but smooth and silky at the root to the near end,i know...but i didnt want to mess up hair since anytime i TRY to curl it,it doesnt curl or it only stays for 1 minute literally and and then it falls out even with hair spray so i left mine straight but i also used a straightener so that it'll look more peautiful,dont do something you'll regret,if you want to curl it thats good btu if you want to do it the way you were talking about,that'll be awesome but if you havent braided your hair in a while or you dont ususally do it,then dont braid it for the picture day.

Don't make any dramatic changes. If you have a style you consider to be your most natural - go with that. I have seen to many people try something new and it usually backfires on them. I've done it myself.
