in these kinds of problems you always start by assigning a varible to the unknowns you are looking for, in this case thats the points scored by each

h=points holly scored
m=point maria scored

then you set up equations based on the sentences

when you have multiple-choice as in this case, you can shortcut by trial and error

it looks like the question box cut off part of your question so there is not enough information to solve the problem
