That there is now a shot that can protect your from HPV and cervical cancer?!

I had no idea until my doctor told me. I got the shot right then and there. It did hurt pretty bad, but what's worse - risking getting cervical cancer or your arm hurting for a while?

Go get it girls, protect yourself!!

nido_tr3s how can you be so evil?! I know advertising can be deceiving (I AM IN THE ADVERTISING BUSINESS THANK YOU VERY MUCH) but I know this is not a scheme. If that shot saves one woman from cancer IT DID IT'S JOB!!

Cathy, it does help older women. My mom is planning to get it. Also, even if you already have contracted HPV it still protects against other strands and cervical cancer.

its very new and is included in girls standard shots starting at age 12, its really great. ive heard about 75 or 80 % of women have or have had hpv. did you know that the strain of hpv that causes genital warts is different from the cancer causing strain. i just learned that:)

Yes it does exist.....I only wish my Mom, me, and my daughter could have gotton it....too late...we all three had cervical cancers.

My daughter is 20.....so it is heartbreaking. But I do have a l2 yr. old girl....so she got one.

Yes, but it is not freely available in the UK yet, only in private clinics and costs around 300 pounds

Foolish girl, that shot is nothing but a money-making scheme devised by the pharmaceutical industry to make even more money at your expense. I guarantee that you will suffer more health problems WITH that shot than without it. Wake up, women, and stop being cattle who believe everything that's advertised to you on TV and in the media.
