Always be careful when looking.. BUT... If I were you.. I would ask any of your neighbors who uses a housekeeper and get a recommendation from them.. Just to get someone off the street can be risky

Ask friends for referrals. Housekeepers are known to rob you blind, especially if they are in your home one day only.

Call a service. Look in your phone book. They are more expensive, but they are licensed and bonded.

Go to your PennySaver or Craig's List. When you find someone, tell them that you want weekly service (they will be less likely to steal and they will give you a better price). Use them once and never call back.

Put a paper bulletin up in your grocery store, laundromat, and you would be surprised, but a college campus- my best housecleanings were done by desperate for extra cash college students.

You're bound to have a bunch of illegal immigrants hanging out on one of your city streets looking for day work. I'm sure you could get one of them to clean it on the cheap.

I would ask my neighbors or you could ask your co workers. If you attend church you could ask some ladies there. Be careful when you hire someone because they could rob you blind!
