Boy, you sure got some retarded answers on this, huh? LOL. And Samantha's had nothing to do with weight. So let me try and clear it up for ya.
For all intents and purposes, the Earth remains about the same weight. The reasons are twofold: as far as human population increasing the weight, you have to figure that people die off at a slightly less rate than they are born, but the weight of a human is almost nil compared to the Earth. It would be like having a few more ants on the Empire State Building! Ino other words, not enough weight to notice.
And someone might say: but what about all the construction and buldings being built? They add weight, right? Well, really no! Because you gotta remember the stuff that was used to build those buildings was already on the Earth, whether it was lumber or concrete or steel, which comes from the crust.

I like that answer Apollo! Yeah, he's right you know. LOL! The people in the world are getting heavier but the world itself? It wouldn't do such a thing to itself.!

Okay, heaviness is a quality of weight. Weight is a measurement of the gravitational force experienced by an object in relation to the earth (or another planet, etc).
The earth doesn't exert a gravitational force on itself, therefore it doesn't have weight, therefore it can't get heavier.
Ya get it?
