help with american wasteland xbox 360?

i can't get the green top in beverly hills to budge at all. i push the a button really fast and nothing happens

also i can't seem to save mega from that lunatic contractor guy at the skate ranch
i shoot the water balloons at this guy but he still makes it to the top and beats the crap out of mega

i can help you get to the green top in beverly hills get a pen and slide it across the buttons rapidly it might sound crazy but it should work after a few trys
