How realistic is it that someone, anyone, would not cash that check? At least deposit it, then decide? Checks can expire! She's going to let it rot?

Izzie was and still is very much in love with Denny. She doesn't want to blow the money he gave her. It makes her feel guilty to spend it because he died in order for her to have it. She just wants to make the right choice and make Denny and his family proud of her decisions. Decisions that she can live with and that Denny would be proud of. Believe me, she is really feeling guilty about the whole incident with Denny getting the heart. Look who she all hurt when she rushed into a decision without thinking it through. This time she is taking her time. Weighing the pros and cons of her decisions.

I agree. The average person would have deposited that check, after doing the hallelujah dance. Checks do have a life span. They do expire. But her going back to the hospital is a good thing. I like her spirit.

I kept thinking that she was going to donate the money to the hospital or something. I would have at least put it in the bank so that nothing happened to it. I got so tired of here saying "I'm Fine" last night. I don't think that she is fine she's just trying to convince herself. I hope so does do something good with the check and not let it expire.

I think Izzie is just taking her time . as a woman that ,that really happened to. It happened to me 7 years ago. My fiance was riding his motorcycle and a car hit him but he lingered for days in a hospital and he finally died 12 days later. Izzie needs time for her heart to heal . She also needs timeto find out what she is going to do with the money. she loves to cook i wish she would open a restaraunt. God bless.

she is going to donated to something noble - they may even blow up a part of the hospital and Izzy will rebuild - wouldn't suprise me

Yeah she is NUTS! I would deposit it in a heart beat then do some good with it...I used to really like her but her character is starting to get on my nerves. "i'm fine, i'm fine"

shes right not to cash the check just yet bcuz shes not ready to do it...the check is all that she has left of Denny.
