Since boredom is a state of mind in which one interprets one's environment as dull, tedious, and lacking stimuli, one might say that some of the questions featured on Yahoo! Answers is not so much boring, as uninteresting. For that, I would guess that people are trying to accumulate points or more so - use this forum as a way to be "heard." Hence the reason some of the questions are just either ridiculous or not worth the bother to reply. This forum allows people to open their communication vices, which may otherwise go unnoticed.

I've not been on here for a long time, and part of the reason for not bothering was the lack of good questions, and the stupidity of people not being able to find an answer for themselves!! I beginning to think that people only ask to see how many hits they get. Sad but true!!
