She lost the baby. She was assisting in a surgery and fainted. That's when it had came out that she was pregnant. They had to perform an emergency surgery on her and that's when she lost the baby.
Burke could hardly finish the surgery, he was working on because he was so worried about her. He didn't know she was pregnant. She was though thinking about having an abortion.

yes...she gets preggers but then chooses to have an abortion but then looses the baby due to complications
