Not really, when you do put it on don't forget the thermal knickers as well.

If you are cold...then it's cold enough for a thermal vest. But I don't know where you might buy one in Essex. They are very much in style now though so you shouldn't have a problem finding a stylish one anywhere.

If your nipples are rigid and you have goosebumps then yes it is definitely cold enough. I'm sure you know Damart do lots of thermals. You'll be able to get them in M&S, John Lewis, BHS, and Debenhams - if not now then soon enough.
You don't have to wear therms specifically, warm t shirts, this summer's little vest tops, thick tights, leggings and/or fluffy socks all work just as well.
It's hard to look relaxed and comfortable when your lips are blue, you're teeth are chattering and you have your arms clamped firmly round to your breast.

It's never not cold enough not to wear a thermal vest, as long as you wear it OUTSIDE your normal wear. Get one from the local Age Concern shop, and make sure it has brown stains around the armpits. Wear it with pride on your nights out.

Of course girl, vest it out. I live in NJ too and it's definitely fashion ready to rock out a cute vest with skinny jeans or leggings. Vests are making a come back and you should make the splash too into the new season. Easy places to find are Delia's, Wet Seal and possibly a thrift shop or some low key or low price sale..all the best vests are at garage sales and flea markets though, hit one up when you pass by, GOOD LUCK!

It's never cold enough to wear a thermal vest!
Actually, it's extremely mild. 20th October and I still haven't switched on the heating.

I've never worn a thermal vest.
I stay warm enough with skivvies ( that's a cotton turtleneck ), sweaters and jackets/coats.

Depends on where you live. If you wear that in Los Angeles, CA right now, you will be laughed at-
